Joseph Yew heads up the Technology Solutions department at MSIG Asia, where he is accountable for the current and future state of technology for the organisation across 14 markets in the region. His remit includes delivering technology solutions and services, supporting digital transformation and development efforts, and to ensure that best practices in technology governance.
Joseph has 25 years of experience in technology. Prior to joining MSIG, Joseph was the cluster director of Singapore’s “Justice, Law and Foreign Affairs cluster”, covering several government agencies and organs of state that included the Attorney General’s Chambers, Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Law, Parliament of Singapore, Family Justice Courts, State Courts, and the Supreme Court.
Joseph had also held positions as the chief technology officer at Singapore’s Supreme Court, chief information officer at the Ministry of Law, and regional chief information officer at Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Joseph holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
Married with two children, Joseph enjoys going for long walks with his family, and discovering hawker fare around Singapore. He has always been passionate about technology, and believes in the power of technology in enhancing the quality of life.
